Zev’s Raw Banana Pie

Ingredients

Crust:

2 cups pecans

2 cups almonds

4 medjool dates

1 TBSP honey

Banana cream filling:

4 very ripe bananas

4 TBSP almond butter

Top Layer:

1 banana

Caramel:

12 medjool dates

½ cup almond butter

½ cup cold water

Yields: 9” pie

Directions:

  1. Ground nuts in food processor, then add honey and pitted dates.
  2. Fill the bottom of a 9” pie dish with a layer of the nut mixture.
  3. Make the banana cream filling by mixing bananas and almond butter in clean food processor. Layer on top of piecrust and place in freezer to set for about 20 minutes.
  4. To finish off, slice bananas and spread on top of pie.
  5. Then blend dates, water and almond butter to make caramel and drizzle on top.
  6. Serve immediately!
